We are raising funds for the Honor Flight! Funds will send veterans and their Prairie View High School student guardians to Washington DC.. That means that we are a local intergenerational service program, where high school students serve as Guardians for WWII, Korean Conflict and Vietnam Military Veterans on a trip to Washington D.C. to view the Memorials and Monuments erected in the Veterans’ honor. An Honor Flight is provided to our deserving veterans at no expense to them. They paid their price long ago, and this trip is designed to be a token of our thanks for their sacrifices and service. The Honor Flight is scheduled for June 2023.
